Would you like a beautiful canvas portrait of your dog to hang on the living room wall but think there’s no way your dog would cooperate in a professional photography session? Thing again! Nearly all of my clients are just your average dog. One that needs to be on a leash in public, is easily distracted and knows few-to-little commands. Honestly, I prefer your dog to be on a leash during a session. Being on leash allows for control, provides direction and most importantly keeps you and your pet safe. Don’t worry, I remove the leash in post editing!
Are you worried your dog won’t listen when it comes to saying cheese? Don’t worry! As a professional pet photographer, I know all the tricks. I have a plethora of attention getters such as game calls, squeakers and treats. And speaking of cheese, I use that too!
Would you like beautiful photos that capture the love and bond between you and your pet but think you’ll do it later down the road? Our fur babies grow and age much faster than we do. There is no better time than now to enjoy a fun visit to the park where you can spend time together while immortalizing the relationship between you and your dog.
A typical session will take place in a comfortable outdoor setting. I like to take a little time in the beginning to introduce myself and my camera and let your puppy explore the location. Once we’re comfortable, we’ll start the session. I will never force your dog to sit or do something they don’t want to do. Instead, I persuade them with treats and attention getters to move them around and get their attention in order to snap the perfect shot. When I start to sense that your dog is no longer interested in the photoshoot, that’s my cue to wrap it up. Creating beautiful images is my goal but I also want this to be a fun and relaxing experience for you and your pet.
A private, onsite session starts at $200. This is the price for the session as well as high and low resolution digital copies. If you are looking for beautiful artwork that you can enjoy for a lifetime, we can discuss this further in person.
